The Canadian Rockies are stunning in any season, but the winter with all its snow and frozen lakes makes for an extraordinary experience! For photos, we’ll cover techniques ranging from long exposure for DSLR cameras to portrait shots with camera phones.
The itinerary includes multiple days with pickup and drop offs from your accommodation.
Day 1: Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake & Columbia Icefields
Day 2: Lake Minnewanka, Sulpher Mountain, Bow Falls, Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise
We will mostly snowshoe depending on your physical abilities, and the tour includes photo shoots and photography lessons. Gondola rides, hot springs, snowshoes/spikes are extra.
Your guide, with over 25 years of hiking and guiding experience, will guide you through various snowshoeing trails of different levels, while on a fun and a safe road trip. With small groups and plenty of one-on-one photoshoots and lessons, you’ll learn all about landscape photography and how to capture the majesty of nature wherever you are.
